MARY HAMPTON CRENSHAW

Mary H. Crenshaw, 74, of 828 Parklane died Sunday, June 29, 1997. A native of Madison County, Mrs. Crenshaw was a daughter of the late Dr. Herbert Hawkins Hampton and Annie Laurie Bray and the widow of Robert Wade Crenshaw. She was owner and operator of Crenshaw's Gift Shop and a member of the Madison Morgan Center, Hard Labor Creek Golf Association, Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Business Council and First United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Morgan Memorial Park with the Revs. Chuck Hasty and Tom Kerr officiating. Survivors include nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Simmons Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Mary Crenshaw Fund, c/o Madison United Methodist Church.
